Nurturing Soil, Empowering Farmers and Cultivating Community Through Hands-On Agriculture Education

At Fortitude Community Farm School, we're dedicated to bolstering the economic, agricultural, and climate resilience of BIPOC farming communities. Our central aim is to cultivate robust generational wealth and advocate for food sovereignty. Through a comprehensive array of initiatives, we're committed to providing on-farm education, resources, and support to BIPOC individuals, organizations, and K-12 schools. Our ultimate objective? To enhance accessibility to locally sourced organic food for all community members.

In addition to our on-farm educational endeavors, we offer a diverse range of healthy living classes, small farm incubator programs, and community events. These initiatives foster collaboration and mutual growth among participants, cultivating an environment conducive to individual and communal prosperity. Our flagship program, a three-year educational farming initiative, equips aspiring BIPOC farmers with essential skills and experience to establish food sovereignty within their communities. Covering a breadth of agricultural techniques, sustainable farming practices, and effective business strategies, this comprehensive curriculum sets the stage for success. Furthermore, our one-year incubation program provides ongoing support as these farmers embark on their journey toward establishing sustainable enterprises.

Through our collective efforts, we're unwavering in our commitment to nurture resilient BIPOC agricultural communities and empower individuals to shape their own food systems. By promoting generational wealth and advocating for food sovereignty, we aim to leave a lasting impact that benefits both present and future generations.
